Thin film evaporator of short range molecular distillation system

Short range distillation (thin film evaporator) is a new "liquid-liquid" separation technology, which can solve problems that cannot be solved by conventional distillation technology. It can realize "liquid-liquid" separation at a temperature much lower than the boiling point of liquid according to the difference of average free path of molecular motion under extremely high vacuum. It is especially suitable for the separation and purification of high boiling point, heat sensitive and easily oxidized materials.

Process principle:

Molecular distillation technology is a technology that uses the difference of average free path of molecules to separate and purify different substances. It is a thermal separation technology process working under the pressure of 1~0.001 mbar. Its low evaporation temperature is very suitable for heat sensitive and high boiling point materials. Its basic composition: cylindrical barrel with heating jacket or external electric heater device, rotor and internal condenser; The fixed frame of the rotor is precisely equipped with a film scraper and a splash proof device. The built-in condenser is located in the central ring of the evaporator, and the rotor rotates between the inner wall of the cylindrical can body and the condenser.

Advantages:

1. Short time - the material stays on the heating surface for a short time, reducing the chance of thermal decomposition.

2. Low boiling point - the evaporation temperature is far lower than the boiling point of the material, so it further reduces the possibility of thermal decomposition of the material.

3. Physical separation can effectively protect the separated substances, and is applicable to the separation of materials with high boiling point, heat sensitivity and easy oxidation.

4. The distillation temperature is low - lower than the boiling point, which is essentially different from conventional distillation.

5. High vacuum can reduce material oxidation damage.

6. Thin distilled liquid film - high and uniform heat transfer efficiency.

7. High degree of separation - no boiling and bubbling phenomenon, which can improve the desolventization and deodorization. It is applicable to the desolventization of liquid after solvent extraction, selectively distilling the target product and removing other impurities.

Main application fields: food, fine chemicals, electronic materials, plastic engineering and the separation and purification of polymers (such as polyols, fatty acids, polyphenols, polyurethane, epoxy resin, lactic acid, monoglyceride, essence, heavy oil and paraffin oil).
